Creativity Of Rabindranath (190r4-05)

While Rabindranath was at Calcutta in April 1904, he became busy with some other business. Sailesh chandra Majumdar was a little bit lazy. He didn't have sharp  business intelligence. As a result Majumdar library founded by him became critical. In spite of his personal affection to  Sailesh Chandra , he had some financial connection  with him.He gave Sailesh Chandra Rs.1000/- as a capital loan.  Rabindranath selected him as a publisher of Galpaguchchha, Chokher Bali, and Kabyagrantha. In spite of this Majumdar Library was main seller Rabinanath's books . He donated the income to Brahmmacharjashram from the selling of the books. As a result of this economic distress Sailesh Chandra wanted to sell the Library to some Nagendra Babu for which Rabindranath became involved. Rabindranath wrote all this matters to Dinesh Chandra Sen.
After the disaster of Majumdar Library Bangadarsan in its new venture edited by Rabindranath and published by the above concern a thought came out in the air.Though Sailesh Chandra was the assistant editor Rabindranath gradually became dependent on Dinesh Chandra. Rabindranath formed a Bangadarsan Samity and made Dinesh Chandra its secretary.
While staying at Mazafarpur Rabindranath wrote two songs
7th July; Ki sur baje amar prane
,,        ; tumi je amare chao ami se jani
Shraban issue of Bangadarsan was published on 16th july. rabindranath wrote many articles in this issue

  1. I think there is some mistake, sri Rabindranath thakur didn't gave any money to start the business. Sailesh Chandra Majumder is the one that help him to publish the books commercially. If you need proof I have it with me.
