Once the Principal Halward of Ravenshaw College said that the native of India, half uncivilised, could not act as the members of Jury in court. Rabindranath protested it in his essay "Apamaner Prtikar". In Dharmabodher Dristanta he protested against the opinion of Henry Savez Lander that "religion is not the subject of the east in Dharmabodher Dristanta."
But Mohit Chandra wrote on 4 Aug, " I have received only 14 poems of Sishu.I require more.I pay thanks to the ghost who have fetched you in the world of "Sishu".
rabindranath sent another three poems ,
Samabyathi [jadi khoka na hoye /ami hatem kukurchana]
Prashna [mago, amay chuti dite bala]
Masterbabu [ami aj kanai master]
Rabindranath sent some more poems on 17th Shraban and wrote a letter requesting Mohit Chandra to give a title,
"I don't don't want to waist the poems by publishing in any magazine.Make Sailesh understand this.My intention is to publish the poems fresh in the book...."
In reply to this Mohit Chandra wrote on 6th Aug, " I got the application of the student, you have sent. I shall place the application very soon before the committee." Mohit Chandra mentioned in that letter, I received 19 poems for "Sishu" kaby grantha." In 15-18 the five poems are
