Creativity of Rabindranath (1909-1910)

In the last day of the passed year Rabindranath wrote Manoranjan Badyopadhyaya from Santiniketan, "New year celebration will be held here tomorrow.I pray to God that the new year  does not become a page in the Calender, let it appear in the life of us. I do not expect more success. Only I want new life. We are not to bring the continuation of the old shame and fear. Only I want to step to new road after clearing all the debris of the past.Everything is mortal, is the debris will not be cleared?"
He wrote to Nagendranath, his son in law,  on the next day, "Let god bless us to be born in the new life. All the weaknesses be removed. All the material object we boast  to be ours, all become void and make our life full with its memories."
