Rabindranath was passing his days in Silaidah on 1st Baishakh [13 april 1899].He has given up editing Bharati and his last publication after editing Bharati was published on 18 April. His mind is fresh now. Pravat Kumar Mukhopadhyay wrote Rabindranath , "Now you are relieved of Bharati. Hope, you are feeling alright with indulging your idleness."
Rabindranath created the poem "Pujarini" following the 54th story of the collected essay, "The Sanskrit Budhist Literature of Nepal" by Dr.Rajendralal Mitra.Rabindranath wrote Jagadish Chandra," Some mythological story has taken shelter in my head. Any way I have to find a way - I started the work after a good number of days.
The main theme of Pujarini is small.
"King Bimbisar gained 'knowledge of truth' from God Budha He constructed a huge mas on the nails and hair of the lord inside his private chamber.His attendants used to keep clean inside the chamber every day.Then Ajatashatru occupied the throne by killing his father.He issued an order not to clean huge mass.Otherwise he had to face death. The maid making her life insignificant carefully cleansed the mass make it brighten by en-lighting candle round it.The king became angry and ordered to through her in a barren land..."

Jagadish Chandra went to Silaidah at the end of Chaitra 1305. He again went there on 10th Mar 1900.At present he came to Silaidah on 1st Baishakh 1900.He wrote Rabindranath on 18th April,
"It was bright moon lit night when I came here.There is lot of difference of this country than that of ours. Please send your writings off and on First few days you are lacking of this task.At least I deserve those articles."
Jagadish Chandra had close relationship with the children of Rabindranath.
