At this time Ramsarbaswa Bidyabhusan (Bhattacharya) was appointed as a private tutor. He took him to Vidyasagar to impress him about the talent of Rabindranath in translating Macbeth in Bengali verse.
In this year in the month of Agrahayan Abhilash (1st printed verse of Rabindranath)was published in Tattwabodhini [ p-148-150] with 39 stanza mentioning this it was written by a twelve year old boy.This was explained in detail by Sajanikanta Das in the life time of Rabindranth
After the publication of Abhilash in Tattwabodhini in Agrahayan, in the next month Paush, an astronomical essay titled, Grahagan Jiber Abasbhumi, was published.
Rabindranth's talent was expressed the 9th session of Hindu Mela. He recited a self written poetry on the occasion.This was published in daily papers mentioning his name. Brajendranath Bandyopadhyay mentioned the news in Indiand Daily News on 15th Feb 1875. " The Hindu Mela The ninth anniversary of Hindoo Mela was opened at 4 P.M., on Thursday , the 11th instant, at the well known Parseebagan on the Circular Road, by Rajesh Kamal Krishna Bahadur, the president of the National Society .../Baboo Rabindranath Tagore son of Baboo Devendranath Tagore , a handsome ladf of 15, had composed a Bengali poem on Bharat(India)which he delivered from memory The sauvity of the tone much pleased his audience."

This was first publication mentioning his name.
A few years earlier Rathindraghatak Choudhury reprinted a rarely found poetry written by Rabindranath in 80 lines, titled "Hok Bharate jay".
Rabindranath's mother, Sarada debi died on 10 Mar 1875 when his age was 13yrs 10months.
In Rabindranath's writings very few lines were spent for his mother. Only in the magazine of Puja issue of Agamoni edited by Suresh Ch. Samajpati 6 small poems were written titled "Matribandana" Among them one was "Janani Tomar Karuna Charanakhani".
An important chapter in Rabindranath's life was opened this year. , That is the introduction of Baishnab Padabali Sahitya in his life. He studied deeply the writings Bidyapathi's padabali'. This was expressed in his writings in different essays.
On 23 Jan 1875, 45th anniversary was celebrated in its Samajmandir. Where 10 Brahmma Sangeet were sung. Among which one was written by Rabindranath;"Gaganer Thale Rabi ChandraDipakajale."
