Rabindranath remained aloof to write anything after writing the essay "Deshanayak" even he kept himself silent in the conflict of moderate and extremist. But he was following the incidents happened recently in  Bengal.H could not keep himself aloof from the feelings of his countrymen due to the partition of Bengal. He didn't support boycott of foreign goods and universities. But he participated eagerly the movement for National education. He noticed that the boycott movement was gradually subsiding and the British gradually  exposing ugly face of repression. His essay "Byadhi O Pratikar" is a protest against all these.
