Elisabeth Wolff Merck translated Chitra published in 1914.Before 1918 there was no translated work.Elisabeth was the wife of Kurt Wolf.
F. Balej translated Gitanjali in the title Gitandzali in Czeck language published in 1914.
Louis V. Kohl tfranslated Gitanjali in 1914. He also translated The Gardener titled Blomsternesbeyogter in 1914.
Arundel del Re translated Gitaanjali as Offerta di conti [1914] in Italian language.
Mammole Zamboni translated il Gardiniere, Clary Zamoni Chauvet translated Crescent Moon as La Luna Crescenta and Aug, Careli translated Sadhana.
The list of translation work in Russian language is much longer.Before announcement of Nobel Prize L.V.Khavkina translated gitanjali in Oct-Nov 1913 which was published in Severnye Za;piski magazine. N.A. Pusheshnikov translated in book form of Gitanjali. and so many works were published.
In China The King of the dark chamber, post office were translated.

In the mean time Indian Publishing House Published 2nd edition of Gaan. The book contains 240 songs.
Rabindranath stayed in Santiniketan even after the closure of School .
A few years ago Rabindranath was suffering from pain at the left side of his face and neuralgia in his ear. This pain off and on relapsed This was revealed in a letter dated nil written to Rathindranath .
Rabindranath himself was good Homeopathic Doctor.He could easily understand the effect and reactions of an Allopathic medicine.Mentioning from Metiria Medica he wrote Rathindranath,
"All these symptoms are prevalent in me. Day and night I feel to die My feeling to die are gradually chasing me. I feel that I could not do anything and would not be able to do anything,,,,,"
This mental depression was revealed in poems and songs of Gitali. At the point of recovery he wrote to Kshitimohan , " I am passing through the feeling of separation and union..."
