Rabindranath at 20


With the intention of assembling all the litterateur in a meeting  an organisation known as Bidwajjan Samagama was established  in Jorasanko. ; The first session was held on 6 Baishakh [18 April 1874]. The second one was held on 27 Baishakh, 1282 [9th May 1875.] Rabindranath recited a self written poetry, Prakritir Khed. Similar programme was arranged in the present year.In the second manuscript of Jibansmriti Rabindranath wrote, "the elder brothers desired to stage a drama based on the conversion of Dacoit Ratnakar. From the beginning of Saradamangal written by Beharilal Chakrabarty Rabindranath got the idea of Dacoit Ratnakar and he wrote Balmiki Prativa. Rabindranath played the role of Balmiki and Prativa, daughter of Hemendranath played in the role of Saraswati.
Gurudas Bandyopadhyay, Rajkrishna Roy etc took the seat in the auditorium.
Rabindranath finished writing two Kaby Natyas, Rudrachanda and Bagna Hriday . He had a thought of goining to London 2nd time with Satyaprasad but both of them changed their opinion and returned to Kolkata from Madras at the end of April 1881.
Rabindranath started Musouri to meet his father who did not rebuked him and talked softly.
He returned and went to Chandan Nagar  at the garden house of Moran Saheb where Jyotirindranath was living with his wife. While staying at Chandan Nagar he wrote some pieces and novel Bauthakuranir Hat.Rabindranath returned to Jorasanko and Jyotirindranath went for a tour.Here he wrote a bunch of poetries which were published in Sandhya Sangeet.
Lila, aged 20 and daughter of Rajnarayan Basu,was married with Krishna Kumar Mitra. On this occasion Rabindranath wrote a few songs which ere sung. Among the singers there was Narendra Nath Dutta (swami Vivekananda).Rabindranath himself conducted thde music.
Though Rajnarayan Basu was a member of Adi Brahmo Samaj and president, but none of the samaj participated in the songs.The following songs were sung. Dui hridayer nodi, Jagatert purohit tumi etc
